Syrian regime and affiliated Iranian militias intensively bombed the besieged neighborhoods in Daraa city on the night of August 27

Syrian regime forces and affiliated Iranian militias fired dozens of artillery shells and missiles at the Daraa al Balad area and Tareeq al Sadd neighborhood in Daraa city on the night of August 27, 2021, causing severe damage to homes and civilian properties.
SNHR notes that the intensive bombardment on the besieged neighborhood in Daraa city was accompanied by an attempt by the same forces to break into the areas, with opposition fighters continuing to resist their efforts.
The Syrian Network for Human Rights condemns the bombing of civilian-populated areas by the Syrian regime which fails to distinguish between populated civilian areas and military targets, resulting in the destruction of homes, as well as threatening and forcibly displacing the residents of those areas.
