Civilian killed by the blast of a landmine of unknown origin in Aoun al Dadat village in Aleppo suburbs on June 30

A 58-year-old man, named as Abdullah al Raskan al Eisa al Jader, from Aoun al Dadat village in the eastern suburbs of Aleppo governorate, was killed on June 30 when a landmine of so-far unknown origin exploded on farmland in the village which is controlled by Syrian Democratic Forces.
SNHR is still trying to contact witnesses and survivors to obtain more details of the incident.
SNHR calls on the governing forces in each area to bear responsibility for protecting civilians in the areas under their control, to reveal the sites of planted landmines and to remove them. We have documented hundreds of deaths and injuries resulting from landmine explosions, which will continue to constitute a real threat to people, particularly children, for several years to come.
