A woman, named as Iman Saleh al Sami’ou, from Hadriyat village which is administratively a part of Ein Eisa city in the northern suburbs of Raqqa governorate, died on March 23, 2021, due to wounds inflicted on March 21, 2021, when Syrian National Army artillery forces fired mortar shells at the village.
Through this action, the Syrian National Army has, without doubt, committed another violation of Security Council resolutions 2139 and 2254 which prohibited any further indiscriminate attacks, as well as violating the rules of international humanitarian law which stress the distinction between civilians and combatants. Attacks of this nature spread terror and panic among civilians.
