A young girl named as Aryana Ahmad Bahri, born in 2008, who is originally from Ras al Ein city in the northwestern suburbs of Hasaka governorate and was living with her family in Tal Hajar neighborhood in Hasaka city, was conscribted by Syrian Democratic Forces on February 15, 2021, enrolled at a training camp in the governorate. SNHR notes that no member of Aryana’s family was informed of her arrest, with her phone being confiscated, preventing her from contacting her family and preventing them from visiting her. We confirm that 113 cases of child conscription have been documented by the SDF since its establishment, with 29 of these child conscripts killed on the battlefield.
