A girl, named as Hamidah Qasem Ibrahim Kousa, was one of the victims killed in a massacre that took place in Izaz city in the northern suburbs of Aleppo governorate on January 31, 2021, when a car bomb of unknown source exploded in a busy, densely populated area in al Markez al Thaqafi Street in the city center. SNHR condemns all attacks of this nature which target and kill civilians, and calls on the controlling forces in each area to bear responsibility for protecting civilians in the areas under their control, and to conduct investigations into all such incidents and reveal their findings to the public.
