A man named as Abdul Elah Mahmoud al Barjas, from al Aziziya village which is administratively a part of Ras al Ein city in the northwestern suburbs of Hasaka governorate, was shot dead by Military Police personnel of the Syrian National Army who opened fire at him during a raid on his home in the village on November 15, 2020.
SNHR notes that the Syrian National Army has committed a violation of international humanitarian law through this indiscriminate killing, for which the perpetrator must be held accountable.
