An agricultural engineer from Qebbasin town in the eastern suburbs of Aleppo governorate, named as Ibrahim al Baisaki, was kidnapped three days ago by unknown individuals. On November 11, 2020, local families discovered his body near al Ra’ee town in the eastern suburbs of the governorate bearing signs of torture.
Although the SNHR is unable to identify the party responsible for the kidnapping and killing, the area is controlled by the Syrian National Army. Despite the controlling forces bearing responsibility for revealing the perpetrator’s identity, they have not launched any investigation, which increases the suspicion of their involvement in the killing.
