A woman from al Ashara city in the eastern suburbs of Deir Ez-Zour governorate, named as Salhah Hamoud al Ahmad, was shot dead on September 28, 2020, by a stray bullet fired by one of the Syrian regime forces personnel stationed at a regime checkpoint in the city.
SNHR notes that the regime has committed another violation of international humanitarian law with this indiscriminate killing and the perpetrator must be held accountable.
