A girl named as Lasher Dara Hamoud, aka Rounida Dari, is from Amouda city in the northern suburbs of Hasaka governorate. Lasher, who was born in 2009, was kidnapped by Syrian Democratic Forces for conscription in the city on June 29, 2020, and taken to an undisclosed location.

SNHR notes that no member of the girl’s family was informed of her arrest and she has been prevented from contacting her family, who are not allowed to visit her. SNHR fears that she will be forced to engage directly and indirectly in military operations, and confirms that around 86 children are still detained for forced conscription in the SDF’s camps.
